Lucy Waterworth
BA (Hons) Illustration with Animation
Lucy Waterworth is a Manchester Based illustrator and character designer. She used pen and ink to create her illustrations combined with digital editing, specialising in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Her work is inspired by people, inspiring narratives and poetry, focusing on a mixture of serious and comical themes as an aspiring childrens book illustrator and character designer.
My most recent work was inspired by the subject matter of shyness and social anxiety and I created two types of work. One focussing on an original character design that lives away from society until he meets a friend who helps him through his anxiety of being in public. The second project was inspired by other people's experience of Shyness expressed through poetry.
