The Fruit Market - soft furnishings and wall coverings collection.
I specialize in Surface Pattern Design for soft coverings and wall coverings using a variety of techniques and mediums. illustrating the natural side of the world we live in, is something that I am passionate about. I have a strong connection with nature, this constantly fuels my inspiration. Working with traditional methods like painting with gouache and using inks, provides a colorful palette. Mono printings has allowed me to merge my drawings and sketches onto fabric.
I am always experimenting and looking for new ways to showcase fresh and innovative designs.
The concept behind this collection is the symbolism of fruit. The idea of youth and mortality can be found amongst the bright and dark pigments respectively. Using my primary research of the fruit and vegetable market in Larnaca Cyprus I have assembled the following soft furnishing and wall coverings collection.
