I'm a print designer and artist at heart with an ever-growing interest in the digitalisation of textiles and how this is revolutionising the design industry to become more sustainable and empower us designers to-do what we do best - Design!
My passion for print stems from the love of visual storytelling and the transformative application print offers to material product.
Specialising in surface-pattern has allowed me to create my own design story, one I feel celebrates a combination of design heritage, nature and contemporary design.
During my final year of study, I have attained key skills and knowledge in 3D modelling and 3D printing to explore an innovative alternative to traditional textile sampling, especially in surface-pattern design.
These samples are exemplary of the exciting potential that comes with the digitalisation of the textiles industry and how this could re-shape the industry as we know it.
I believe that now is the time to embrace digital skills due to the need for sustainable design solutions and how technology can optimize & streamline the design processes currently embedded in the design industry.
