SKINTERFACE

‘Skinterface’ is an interactive, experiential installation that merges skin-like textures with technology to explore themes of discomfort, innovation and human-technology integration through sensory stimulation. The piece relies on and invites users to physically interact with the artificial skin, triggering and altering the generative visuals through embedded sensors in response to interaction. The project blurs the line between virtual and physical, challenging traditional conventional views of skin as solely a protective barrier. Instead, I it reimagines skin as a technological interface, redefining the way we interact with and experience technology. The reimagination of technological interfaces through an organic lens, aims to give a new perspective and empowering on the role of skin and shape its future interaction with technology.
