Ellie Little- BA (Hons) Games Art
I am a 3D Environment Artist with a strong interest in physics based textures and foliage creation, but also enjoy all aspects of the discipline.
Throughout my studies, I have worked on numerous projects, both independently and within a team, which have expanded both my technical skills and collaborative abilities.
Most notably are the projects Nelken and Sprout, which both respond to both social and environmental issues through the medium of games art and expanded my horizons on how games can be vehicles for societal change. Not only do I want to demonstrate my technical abilities, but to also create art which has a lasting positive impact, particularly in regards to conservation and sustainability.
Other personal projects that I have found immensely rewarding are Papercut and The Nordic Forest as they both allowed me to push my creativity in mediums I was both familiar with and new to.
My time at Manchester Metropolitan University has enriched my creativity and provided me with the knowledge to pursue a future within the games industry which I did think would be possible.
