If you need a hand...
I am an Animation student who is exploring the range of emotions and experiences that happen during a crisis. Be that through injury or other major changes.
The story I am telling in my Master's is that of my partner's injury, which changed not only his life but my own. Through contemporary and experimental animation, I hope to tell a story that people may see themselves in and may help others understand the isolating nature that these events may have on a person.
I explore through a wide variety of animation, including 2D, stop motion and mixed media throughout this film. Pushing myself through these methods is essential, as my interests in animation do not just hold in one area but are spread across every medium.
In the end, all I hope to achieve with my film and studies is a better understanding of the impacts of crisis on a person and what truely defines what can change a person's life entirely overnight.
