Eve Randall- BA (Hons) Filmmaking
On Branches of a Fig Tree, I worked as the producer, scheduling the shoot, and preparing to shoot on location in North Yorkshire. I have worked as a producer throughout my time at university, spending my time researching the best practices to use for raising money, finding actors and making sure the films run as smoothly, as possible. This researching was applied during my recent film, Branches of a Fig Tree, which you can view at the the Manchester Metropolitan University degree show. I am very proud of the work I have done to help this film come to life.
My area of interest, is producing, and it is what I would like to carry on doing past university. Additionally, I am also interested in videography, having had some work experience in that field already. At the beginning of May, I was given the opportunity to work in the Medical Illustration department at Manchester Royal Infirmary, as an editor and videographer, where I was able to learn so much from the team. This is an area of interest, I am additionally considering going in to.
