Delicate Disturbance

Artist Statement

My practice sits within a series of juxtapositions, where fragility meets structure and humility sits within the constructs of the home. I am interested in how human experience inhabits a balance between instability and support, grounding personal reflection in tactile ,kinetic forms that invite both introspection and participation.

I create accessible spaces where art becomes a tool for shared play , drawing viewers into the work as active participants. Through the use of movement, sound and light, I construct immersive, sensorial environments that are both intimate and transformative. With the intention of simulating the imagination whilst creating a sense of calm.

Time unfolds through fluid motion and the presence of the viewer, whose interaction activates and reshapes each piece. Light acts as a vital force, casting shifting shadows and projections that create fleeting, ethereal traces, and works that are felt as much as they are seen.

Rooted in the unstable terrain of childhood memory, playful and instinctive movement becomes a language of connection, allowing the work to resonate through moments of light and shared presence.
