Isla Wales’ practice shifts between medium. From small scale paintings to ceramics and wood sculpture and found objects. Her work explores memory, identity, and how we piece together a sense of self. Drawing on personal histories shaped by fragmented attachment and shifting domestic environments, she assembles collections of found, made, and preserved materials that act as stand-ins for experiences, relationships, and absences.
