Against All Odds
Through candid conversations with my mother, this documentary explores the complexity of teen motherhood. It makes comment on the lack of resources and expectations for teen mothers and their daughters, hoping to challenge the belief that these women lack ambition or drive. Though the odds may be against us; this work proves it is never a lack of ambition, only a lack of access.
Outside of this project, my areas of interest are in documentary filmmaking and I hope to continue to create meaningful and personal pieces.
