2 of my proudest projects

Portfolio Website:

In my third year I needed to create my portfolio website and this was this time I needed to define my brand to present to the digital world. I wanted my portfolio to portray myself in one space and one thing that is part of my identity is my love for video games. They have been a massive inspiration to me and my design journey so I based my brand around that. The website follows and retro pixel-art style and a pastel colour scheme, the simple, pixelfied graphics add a bit of life to the website along with a small avatar I created of myself. This created a place where I could display my website case studies and my personal art projects.

Overwritten Game:

For one of my final projects, I wanted to create something completely new and go outside my comfort zone. The module expressed to explore how technology has effected certain elements working in the digital work and I was drawn to exploring the use of AI in the making of video games. AI has always been a hot topic, especially in the creative arts industry. I wanted to make something that was going to spark the conversation of the use of AI and how the use of it is only growing due to how many humans are using it and not because it just came out of no where. So, I decided to make a short point and click horror game where it follows a storyline of having to see employees being found "redundant" rather than being killed or fully replaced by AI; this further explains how AI only exists due to human creativity and it feeds off of it, overwriting our ideas. The game includes pixel-art graphics and dialogue sequences.
