L'Absurde
My Master's project explores a hybridisation of 2D frame-by-frame animation and paint-on-glass animation visiting themes of absurdism and psychological terrors. L'Absurde takes place between the Renaissance and Enlightenment periods, focused on the discovery of art and philosophy with a hint of classism and philosophical anarchism. The specific combination of mediums intends to bring traditional techniques into a contemporary space while directly correlating to the subject matter surrounding the life of an oil painter.
