My design practice spans professional UX work in India and my MA studies in Manchester, with a consistent thread of accessibility and ethical, research-driven design.
Before the MA, I worked as a UX Designer at CDAC (under India's Ministry of Electronics and IT) and as a Product Design Intern at Acowale, a B2B SaaS company, designing for diverse, large-scale user contexts that continue to inform how I approach UK-based problems.
During my time at MMU, I redesigned the NHS App's cookie consent flow, addressing friction and confusion in how users grant digital permissions. A LinkedIn post about this work gained traction and led to an expert contact in local government digital services.
This fed directly into my final independent project, Designing for Transformed UX, which maps the emotional journey of NHS patients with reduced mobility, including motor impairments like tremor associated with Parkinson's across physical, digital, and human touchpoints. Built around a scenario, the project uses ability-based design principles and emotion-based service blueprinting to identify where standard interfaces fail users with limited dexterity, particularly around authentication and task continuity. The resulting lo-fi prototype, tested through peer and guerrilla sessions, includes a tremor-aware Face ID retry flow, real-time mis-tap detection, and a voice-assisted mode for completing multi-step tasks like repeat prescriptions.
Alongside UX, I do professional photography, and I hold an interest in accessibility as inherited practice rather than a compliance checklist, treating resilience and inclusion as core to good design rather than an add-on.
