NATUR PUR

Focusing on conscious and sustainable fashion has been a driving force behind my work as a designer. When I made the decision to study fashion, it was with the intention to use my skills and creativity to contribute to a positive change in the fashion industry and striving for more sustainability.

I am dedicated to creating pieces that are not only timeless and high end, but are also made with consideration for the environment. This means that I am mainly incorporating natural fibres in my collections as well as reducing the waste during production, by including digital toiling processes and reusing scrap fabrics as stuffing or for smaller projects. My collections are super wearable, high quality and stand for longevity.

For my graduate collection I am looking at the coexistence of nature and man-made structures. The shapes and details are inspired by how we have built or lives around nature. The collection is super wearable, while only using natural fabrics, like linen, cotton and silk, and deadstock trims throughout. The print is inspired by the Japanese flower pounding technique and reflect the delicacy of nature, while still always shining through. The silhouettes of my garments are timeless, yet modern and contemporary. They are made to be worn for a long time and will contribute to a more circular fashion industry.

I am proud to be a part of a growing community of designers who are dedicated to creating a more sustainable and ethical fashion industry.
