Fragility

This project explores fragility through the connection between the human body and the natural world. I’ve focused on close-up details such as skin, veins, and petals to highlight how visually similar these forms can be. These are often small, overlooked details, but when placed side by side, they begin to blur the line between what is human and what is natural.

The images are intentionally unclear, encouraging viewers to slow down and question what they are looking at. Through this, I wanted to create a more thoughtful and personal viewing experience, where meaning is not immediately obvious but gradually builds over time.

Rather than presenting fragility as something negative, this work approaches it as something natural. Both the body and nature are constantly changing, and there is something honest and quietly beautiful in that. Through this project, I hope to gently shift the viewer’s look at the body by recognising its connection to the natural world and finding beauty in the details we do not always notice.
