Oli Koren (b.1997) is a multi-disciplinary maker, designer, visual artist and photographer.
Curious, whimsical & inquisitive, tit4tat is a surreal deep-dive into girlhood, femininity and self-acceptance. Oli Koren shapes a positive and playful narrative between her own struggles with and later embracement of femininity through a series of minimalist sculptures carefully placed in calming fantasyscapes.
The selected works investigate ideas around the coming of age as a woman, of societally imposed expectations, security, power and self-expression. tit4tat was created as a means to encourage others to remember to take time out, wind down and to engage with their own ‘girly’ side through a series of striking and symbolic images.
