Molly Armitage BA (Hons) Graphic Design
Hi, my name is Molly. I am a Graphic Designer based in Manchester. My practice is closely linked to themes such as sustainability, well-being, education and environmental issues. I enjoy working with both digital and hand rendered processes. With interests in a vast number of creative sectors, I see myself as a multi-disiplinary creative with the aims of utilizing design for positive impact. For this self-directed project I have explored into a personal interest of mine. Throughout my studies, I have accumulated many house plants and grown a deep love for them, and become fascinated by their many beneficial purposes. This project looks closely into the benefits of being a true 21st century plant parent. ‘Wellness on your windowsill’ consists of factual poster zines, plant based health and beauty recipes, and care cards all to help you gain the knowledge needed for both you and your plants to thrive.
