Hi I’m Sophie, my brand is Peach Melba Designs. I’ve always been driven by design that has an impact on the world, and I’m passionate about promoting positive change. My final year of university has fully opened my eyes to the global influence of design on important causes, and it’s got me really excited about the future.
My last project as a final year student I chose to focus on the Myanmar Coup, which if you dont know, is the illegal takeover of control by the Myanmar military which has severly impacted a lot of the lives of those living in Myanmar. I wanted to make a bold campaign to educate people in the UK on this because it has hardly featured in the news. My campaign is called EYES ON MYANAMR. The aim of the camapign is to get people to empathise with the situation by subverting some of the rules and regulations that have been imposed on the people living in Myanmar.
