Yasmin Pheasant BA (Hons) Textiles in Practice

As a designer I am interested to explore new materials and ways of working. I am determined to capture emotion and meaning in my work. The Practice Unit and Unit X allowed me to research into immersive designs and installations. I have been able to identify my strongest skill of concept building. My work is simple but effective and speaks the heart and mind of everyone. I enjoy drawing, digital designing, printing and making. I have a can-do attitude and I am always open to learning new skills and gaining new experiences. The Royal London commission has made me a more confident designer, I have more confidence in presenting myself and my ideas and I can confidently speak to external audiences in a professional way.
